OPTION 2: MENTAL WELL-BEING CHALLENGE

Here are some examples of how to complete the activities and submit your entries.

Example 1

Challenge

Card:

Self-Care

Activity Completed:

Reflections:

"I chose to attempt this activity as I realised I've never really taken the time to appreciate the sunrise/ sunset. I arranged to meet up with some friends after work and we caught the sunset at a nearby park. It felt refreshing and relaxing to spend time with my friends appreciating the beauty of nature. While I may not be able to catch the sunrise/ sunset every day, this experience has taught me the importance of pausing to live in the present moment."

Photo (optional):

Example 2

Challenge

Card:

Workplace-Care

Activity Completed:

Reflections:

"My fellow trainees have helped me out a lot in my course. I've always felt awkward expressing my thanks, but today I decided to take the time to thank them and tell them that I really appreciate when they help to answer my questions or explain things that I find difficult to understand. It felt a little bit awkward, as expected, but when my course mate told me that he felt encouraged by my thanks, I realised that every little word makes a difference. I will be more mindful and deliberate in showing my appreciation in future."
